Bill has been a practicing Marine Surveyor in the Las Vegas, NV area including Lake Mead, Lake Mohave, Lake Havasu and the Colorado River area since 1995.

Prior to that Bill operated Red & White Fleet Ferries for Crowley Maritime on San Francisco Bay.

While a Tugboat Captain prior to Crowley Maritime, Bill also had a Mobile Marine Repair business, which on his days off from Tug-boating operated for over ten years.

Bill is a U.S.C.G. Licensed Master of 500 gross tons (ITC) (4th issue).

Bill acquired Accredited Marine Surveyor status (AMS®) with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors in 1999 and earned  Certified Marine Investigator status with the International Association of Marine Investigators in 2005.
